Our Chapter
Grand Traverse ISSA is the local chapter of the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA), serving cybersecurity professionals, technology leaders, students, and practitioners across Northern Michigan. Our mission is to support education, collaboration, and professional growth within the regional security community by creating opportunities to connect, share knowledge, and strengthen the local cybersecurity ecosystem.
What makes our chapter different is our commitment to accessibility and community involvement. Our events are open to everyone, regardless of membership status, because we believe cybersecurity knowledge should be shared and encouraged across the region. We especially welcome high school students, college students, and individuals exploring careers in technology and security. If you find value in the relationships, education, and networking opportunities our chapter provides, we encourage you to become an official ISSA member and help support the continued growth of the community.
